Back when i first got the car, it came with these butt-ugly rims. They are 14x8's and i have a gang of clearence between tire and body. I picked up some chrome American Racing Rally rims (15x10 rear, 15x8 front) and new rubber all the way around. I put a 50 series in the front, and a 60 series in the rear trying to fill in some of the enormouse gap, ...looks marginally better.

In June i got Eibach lowering springs (1 1/2" drop). About $200 for the springs, and another $160 for installation and re-alignment at Tucker Tire in Covina. I also put 50 series tires on the rear cause i didnt like the 'bigger tires in the rear' look on third gen. Camaro's, they're too short or sumthin, dunno, ...just looks dumb. So, i got 50 series all around now. Still too much clearence for the look im trying to get still.

A couple weeks after lowering the car, i was referred to Executive Glass Tinting in Covina(?). On Grand Ave., got 'limo' tint in front and rear windows (8" strip across the top of the windshield) and the next shade lighter for door windows. It comes with a 'Bubble' lifetime warrenty, and a 7 year 'fade' warrenty for $189. Looks great.

In July, ...i picked up my son, Nick, and we headed out to L.A. County Fairgrounds located in Pomona (about 15 minutes east) for Street Legal Drags, the same strip used for the Winternationals. I'll be getting drag slips after certain 'upgrades' to the Camaro, so i have to start out with the "before" slips today. nothing other than the above has been changed to otherwise a completely stock '84 Camaro Berlinetta, V-6 2.8L, with about 90k miles on the motor.
